Current Courses in 2009 - Open Water - Stress and Rescue - Private Specialty Courses

***We are now offering several new open water courses.  Each of these are two week courses with open water dives on the Saturday and Sunday of the 2nd week.

The first week, classes are held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and Friday.  Tuesday is the evening pool session, while the pool session on Saturday runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The second week, classes are again on Monday and Friday evenings with pool on Tuesday evening.  If needed, another pool session is scheduled for Thursday.  This week's Saturday diving experience is a beach dive from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m..  Sunday is a morning boat trip for 2 dives in the pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  Upon successful completion of the boat dives, you will be a certified open water diver!

SSI now offers, along with Diver's Emporium, online training.  All course work can be done online.  Once completed, you select a store based your zip code and then take the final exam at the store.  This is when you will pay for your E-kit and the course fees.  If you select Diver's Emporium, please use 32539 as your zip code.  Go to http://www.divessi.com/online to sign-up.

***For those of you who are already certified divers, all of our specialty courses are offered in a one-on -one class setting.  First, you get your materials and study at home.  Next, you come to the classroom to complete your academics.  The final step is the make the required dives where applicable.  The schedule for the days and times are flexible, based on your availability and the instructor's availability.

Call for ALL schedules and course times 1-888-518-3483, local (850) 689-3483.  To schedule your course, call or email us at manager@diversemporium.net.
